It wasn't black people being offended that prompted this decision. It was white nationalists using blackface morris as a symbol of their shitty ideology. The intangible cultural heritage version of "statue defending". The morris organizations couldn't possibly want to be associated with violent fascist thuggery like that, and fair play to them for responding quickly and decisively. I see the hacked "Dave Hanson" account is posting again. Block it please, mods.
