Mom! Why does the word "skies" even exist? There's only one sky! Is there an exoplanet somewhere that has multiple skies? How would that work? Are they stored in a closet somewhere and some guy decides which one to use on a particular day? "I think we'll have the puce sky on Monday and the lavender sky on Tuesday." Personally, I wouldn't want to live someplace that has a puce sky, even if it was only on Monday.
