RBG needs to hang on until after Biden's inauguration, not just until after Trump loses the election. If you don't think Trump and McConnell are big enough assholes to ignore the "Thurmond Rule" and try to push a SCOTUS nomination through during a lame duck period, there's something wrong with your thinker.

That it has never been done before is not due to a law or Constitutional provision. The Thurmond Rule is more of a "gentlemen's agreement". Trump and McConnell are not gentlemen.
