Hi Jeri, I used to have an LP of I McL and on it the name was spelled Iain McLaughlin. I have always wondered why his name should have been spelt the Irish way because in the Highlands it is normally McLa(u)chlan as you point out. I presume the producers of my record got it wrong. Good Luck Ian M.
