I am unable to sleep as i have some song words troubling my head. The words include --------,the gulls were flying high, the Liver birds stood over me wings spread against the sky, the tide was turning outward, the river running brown, the cargo boats were sailing from the docks of Liverpool town.The tune was similar or the same as the one often applied to the Gallant Frigate Amphitrite. Can anyone please shed any light please?
