Hello, I am one half of a duo called Bunion from Aberdeen in Scotland. My singing partner (Eddie Ross) wrote and recorded “Men on the Rigs” in 1978. Good to hear so much interest in our song. We made it a double “B” side with a song called “Dreamer”. Hope this answers the enquiries. ??
