Like Mother I got 'proper blazing' and pointed out that it was my own accent and I grew up with among Ramsbottoms of this world who thought it was a hoot. On reflection I suspect that my challenger was tarring Edgar/Holloway with the same brush as Flanders and Swann (where I would tend to agree with him) Are Albert and Sam safe with the 'PC' crowd?
