Not so much a peeve, more an amusing and surprising find, in an email from Coopers of Stortford: Purchase of Sharp Implements/Dangerous Goods: When ordering a sharp implement/dangerous good you are.... (Steve's in a hardware shop): Assistant: How may I help you, sir? Steve (holding machete picked up from shelf): Can you tell me if this is a dangerous good? :-)
