Thank you Peter, you express that very well. The song has a general feeling of a deep lack and longing, which is why it came to me to sing last evening in the Mudcat Zoom session in these difficult times, when so many participants have been moved by recent events in Washington as well as the international COVID-19 situation. As you can tell, the song says it better than I can.
