I considered subscribing, but I wasn't sure I could watch it comfortably on my TV and it was too expensive to take a punt. I had concluded there were probably four ways of watching Vimeo streams like this on a TV:

  1. Using a browser built into a smart TV - which their help says may not work. (I don't have a smart TV.)

  2. Using an hdmi cable between a computer and the TV. (I don't have a computer with an hdmi output - except a Raspberry Pi.)

  3. Chromecast, chromesticks. and similar gadgets. (I don't have any but I might buy one if I really want to watch - they're quite cheap.)

  4. Casting from an Apple computer or device to an AppleTV using AirPlay or Screen Mirroring. (I might be able to do this because I have an old (v2) Apple TV box, but it's very flakey - hard to set up and keep running. It's a last resort for me.)

The CC TV help pages are pretty poor. They don't mention Apple methods at all.

Can you explain that? Is that using a Vimeo app, signed in using an email address, running on the smart TV or some other box?
