I was assistant technician at a venue in Edinburgh during the festival fringe of 1977. Alex Glasgow and Henry Livings performed 'Northern Drift' at our venue and I remember hearing this nonsense piece, among others. As was my habit in those days I made private recordings of several shows but, sadly, my recordings no longer exist. Maybe the BBC have an Edinburgh Fringe archive. They recorded at least one 'live' show that was later broadcast on radio.
