For the benefit of those not in the UK Mick Peat started[as far as i know] with the group The Ripley Wayfarers The Ripley Wayfarers were (I believe) : Mick Peat, Barry Renshaw, Andrew Train, Arthur Renshaw, Phil Langham. They ran a very successful folk club for many years in Ripley They recorded Chips and Brown Sauce and another LP "The Wells" a record of trad Derbyshire trad and contemporary songs. Mick Peat, was, until recently, a co-presenter of BBC Radio Derby's Folkwaves, along with Lester Simpson
