I happened to play Cloudstreet's 'Circus of Desires', which I purchased from them in person at the National Folk Festival here in Australia, on the drive home from Goulburn today. I realised I hadn't recorded John's brilliant 'Green Man' song for YouTube, so did that this afternoon, only to be advised of this sad news by a folkie friend this evening. Martin Pearson has been posting old videos of him performing with John as 'Never the Twain', should have realised something was up. No good words to say, but I hope that John's close friends and family feel the strong love that the folk community has for them. Daniel Kelly
