That was such a wonderful session! Augusta will have it up on their YouTube channel, so it's a great thing to pass on to people who want to know what Chanties/Shanties are all about. Chris showed how the different kinds of shanties worked by physical gestures to give the feel of the work being done. Grand singing, great information. John finished off the session with the whole story about the source of The Wellerman - including showing the book where it was first detailed. cheers! Joanne in Cleveland
