On the optimistic side, we have the following: When the Capitol Police finally decided the threat was deadly, they killed a rioter, and the crowd lost its enthusiasm. The crowd learned a serious lesson there. After the riot, the FBI received 200,000 tips from the public. A lot of people in this country have probably realized that there are a lot of ex-spouses, hostile co-workers, former friends and abused sons & daughters out there, ready to do it again. Trump failed to arrange for any Port-a-potties on Jan 6th, and there won't be any next time, either.
