The Spa was mothballed, wasn't it? I can't find too much detail on Google about its current status, but the venue has advertisements for events throughout 2021. I don't recall ever reading that it was closed permanently, and this report would seem to suggest that this was never an option: https://www.whitbygazette.co.uk/arts-and-culture/theatre-and-stage/no-plan-permanent-closure-scarborough-spa-and-whitby-pavilion-says-operator-it-consults-redundancies-2906358 (For what it's worth, I think the new Pavilion is a soulless venue, and not a patch on its predecessor. The bar area in particular is like being in an airport waiting lounge.)
