Last night I got to thinking. If there were 8000 at the Capitol and the FBI received 200,000 tips, that comes to 25 tips per person. Most of those 8000 people did nothing really bad, and it's hard to picture an outraged populace turning them in for standing on the Capitol grounds and uttering chants. I've seen an estimate that there were 8000 people there but only 800 entered the Capitol, and it seems likely that these 800 were the focus of most tips. That sure is a lot of tips. (250 per person) How many bitter exes, hostile co-workers and abused children can those 800 have?
