I created a different "take" based on "The Wellerman," to explore what might make it sound more "typically" in the the musical style of most chanties (i.e. in light of the recent trend that has presented the song under the rubric of chanties). Singing "The Wellerman" as a CHANTY The singing on the solos is poor because the pitch is too low for my voice to project, but I had to go low so as also to sing high parts, in the same key, in the harmony - ha!
