A few weeks ago our geriatric cat - Bianca, aged 18 and a bit years - caught a mouse. At least, we presume she did; woke up to find a deceased mouse under the coffee table, and we do, after all, have a cat. Ergo, cat killed mouse. We caught another in a trap last week after Bianca chased it. Two mice is two too many, but we aren't as badly overun with meeces here as some people are. It is raining. Having grown up in this town and lived through many floods, there is a reason why we bought on a hill well away from the river.
