Felipa Lyr Req: Se Fath Mo Bhuartha/Reason for my Sorrow (64* d) RE: Lyr Req: Se Fath Mo Bhuartha/Reason for my Sorrow 22 Mar 21

returning to the previous discussion of "turas na Cruaiche", Risteard MacGabhann translates it as meaning that life will be without hardship (no need to do a "turas" or without the conditions or a pilgrimage walk)

Tá caladh a's cuan ann ag long a's ag bád,
There’s harbour and shelter there for ship and boat,
A's tá tuilleadh bua ann, níl turas na Cruaiche ann
And there’s more benefit there, there’s no hard life there,
Don té a dhéanfadh suas lena mhuirnín bán.
For the man who’d make up to his fair love.
