I don't put sugar in tea or coffee. I avoid artificial sweetener if possible, which means carefully reading the labels and packets of anything claiming "No added sugar" (it doesn't mean the product won't be horribly sweet - it probably will, because it will have artificially sweetener in it), and I am very suspicious of anything labelled "No artificial sweetener" (it may mean the product contains the HORRIBLE STEVIA, which is derived from a plant and thus doesn't count as artificial).
