Sorry to hear this yesterday via Facebook and now here: had the pleasure of seeing him live on a good number of occasions, but one that really sticks in my mind is when he sang at his son’s memorial concert in Perth, one year after Gordon ‘s death. He did his “Plooman’s Song” which involved a lot of to-ing and fro-ing on stage with scant regard for any carefully placed microphones! Hilarious!
And I have a copy of the “Jock’s Jock” book, which is a great read, and amazing project that he undertook with help from Gary West.
