I'm looking for a song that I heard on a folk show about 20 years ago. I recall the tune and the chorus, but only a bit of the verses. I'd also like to know the composer. These may not be word-for word: Garage Sailing Some folks I know spend their Saturdays Sittin' at home watchin' football games Others head over to Mom's for a home cooked meal. I like to get out the classifieds Gas up the car for a nice long ride And just cruise around lookin' for a deal I go sailing, sailing, garage sailing, I keep my eyes on the side of the road For the cardboard signs on the telephone poles I keep sailing on. I've bought knickknacks, brick-a-brack I even once bought a Cadillac. It didn't run, but I painted it baby-blue (It looked so good on the lawn you know) These lines are contained in the song: Other people's throw aways fills my home. I may have to find a place of my own.
