I love Wikipedia, and can spend hours just surfing it, hoovering up information on anything I find interesting. It's not perfect, but nor is anything else. Example: I have quite a deep interest in classical music. Wikipedia will tell me about many 'minor' composers who don't find their way even into a big fat tome like the Oxford Companion to Music.
