One of the best things about all these conversations is that everyone has more or less familiarity with the mechanics of ship sailing AND with a *range* of musical genres, as opposed to the run-of-mill interviews where (often) the interviewer has little sense of music and (often) the guests have only vague/fanciful ideas about the technology.
