I'm working on replacing the security light at the side of the house; there are a lot of Alexa-type offerings, and I'll look at them (I want a wired system but don't want to run coax to it, though I could). Having a camera there would serve both me and the house next door, but having a drive for it to load to (vs the Cloud), that's the question.
