Hi Dave, as noted in the accompanying text, the original audio tape is rather poor and there is a limit to the degree that it can be enhanced, but if you are a fan and are able to listen through the hiss (as I can) there is an irreplaceable gem there. Each to his/her own I guess...

Clinton Heylin originally graded this recording 2/5 (mildly unlistenable). Probably that is being a little kind; however it is better than the 1/5 (unutterably dire) that was his worst opinion for some others of a similar vintage, and which even I have trouble listening to. I am guessing that it is a case of different strokes for different folks.
