Hi Nick - appreciate your efforts - it seems like the program does a great job of removing the hiss, but what is left is a bit jerky/processed sounding ... maybe the algorithms do not work so well on really poor source material. I may have a go with analogue tricks such as recording to cassette with Dolby C on and then playing back with Dolby B, if I get the time... otherwise we wait for a better original to turn up, if it exists, maybe :(
