Can you suggest any songs associated with the month of June ie: (A) Any songs with June in the title (B) Any songs with a June date given in the lyrics (C) Any songs referencing an event that is known to have occurred in June even if the lyrics do not actually say so. It would be very helpful to have links to performances of the songs and also more sources of information about them. As the thread develops I shall possibly re-organise some posts and add an index to make the songs easy to find. Directly below is an alphabetical index of the titles collected in this thread. If a title in this index is blue then by clicking it you should be jumped to the section of the thread in which most of the discussion and links for that title occur. If you just want to add a new post to this thread use the “Post to this thread” button, above, to jump to the end of the thread. I shall sometimes rearrange “late” posts to group them with their appropriate main area of discussion so that they are not overlooked.When I add to someone’s post I make this clear by doing so beneath an orange line like the one below. By clicking on the User Name, you will requery the forum for that user. You will see everything that he or she has posted with that Mudcat name.
By clicking on the Thread Name, you will be sent to the Forum on that thread as if you selected it from the main Mudcat Forum page.
* Click on the linked number with * to view the thread split into pages (click "d" for chronologically descending).
By clicking on the Subject, you will also go to the thread as if you selected it from the original Forum page, but also go directly to that particular message.
By clicking on the Date (Posted), you will dig out every message posted that day.
