Due to the outbreak of foot and mouth disease in Britain, the Sct. Patrick's Day Parade has been cancelled in Dublin, Cork and Galway. This has to be first time that happens. Isn't it somewhat ironic that the brits have once again, some 80 years after the Irish independence, managed to stop the Irish people from celebrating their national identity and culture?
