Glad's Rag (stay at home) The COVID lockdown you have when you're not having a lockdown. Here in Sydney, in the land of Oz, & in much of our state we are in lockdown. Other states are also in lockdown, Delta covid is racing around, exacerbated by the vaccine "stroll-out", not for us an orderly & timely roll-out. We also have rule breakers, anti-vaxxers & fans of 'freedom' The federal govt was in charge the stroll-out (our The Prime Minister is/was a friend & fan of Trump!) & our state govt is also to the right, so the references in the song refer to the confusion of the original lockdown which started in late June. It has since been tightened - there are now only 4 or 5 reasons to be outside - & extended & will end 28th Aug - covid permitting. The stable door has been locked, kind of ... sandra in sydney in the second month of lockdown
