What a wonderful Mudgather at Moira Furnace Folk Festival this year! We sorely missed My Guru Always Said (our usual Mudgatherer) and Russ Barnes and I tried to ensure we continued the traditions in her absence! Although fewer in number than some years, Covid safety and the enthusiasm of Dave Taylor, The Railway Arms, and the MFFF organisers enabled us to meet, sing and eat chocolate :). Plenty of chocolate but no cat to pass around I'm afraid! (No-one told me about the cat! ??). Such a privilege to meet the Mudcatters and guests and share their songs, tunes and stories. The roll call as best I could collect it: Daughter and Redfoxbrewer from Coggeshall; MBS Lynne from Moira; Windhoven Weaver from Houghton Regis; Mr & Mrs Scarecrow from Shropshire; Malcolm Goodall from Leicester Thurnby; Mr Red; Mick & Christine from Newcastle-under-Lyme; Bob Dovey from Worcester; Rosie & Robbie from Southampton; Bill & Rosemary ("Young at Heart") from Stafford; Fiona & Gary Langham; Lefty; We had a small handful of other guests who didn't sign details ??. Thank you all!
