I was sitting at home, and got on the computer - to Mudcat.

I turned on the TV, and that's what I did all day, aside from occasional posting here.
They've been showing retrospectives of this already. There's one thing they never show, but I remember seeing live: The people jumping out of the building. The fall wasn't as frightening as burning alive. I don't forget any of it, but those jumpers are particularly horrific.

I only knew one person who died, that I know of, anyway, and I only met him once.

I remember thinking at the time that that even had changed the world.
