From the aftermath of those dreadful events came the country dance and tune "Safe Haven" by Orly Krasner. Orly wrote: "Many of us turned to the English dance community for solace and comfort in the days after … the dance is intended as a celebration of our solidarity, and virtually all the figures are supported." Ashley Hutchings, working at the time on "Grandson of Morris On", commented "When we are shaken we wish to return to the womb. This is our womb and it feels good, and right." I have chosen the dignified and hymn-like "Safe Haven" tune for my own funeral.
