I am waiting eagerly for the mask mandate to end. I panic and cannot breathe in a mask (don't judge, it's stuff from when I was younger.....some things never leave you, you know) so have stayed home for several months unless I have had a medical appointment. Himself has been doing the shopping/running around for us. What I dislike most of all is the mistrust and cruelty that this pandemic has brought up. Families separated and unable to meet before a loved one's death, children kept away from their parents, people kept away from their own homes despite having correct paperwork, things like that. One of our sons lives in Canada, his wife is Canadian - we don't know if we will be able to be in the same room ever again, which makes me sadder than I can say. I'm pleased to see the world opening up. Covid will, I suspect, always be with us in one form or another and we can't stay shut down forever.
