"Reality is different for each of us.." is a rhetorical concept. The laws of physics are not different depending on one's imagination. People often use words like Humpty Dumpty.."‘When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.’ This is a form of Equivocation. "In logic, equivocation ('calling two different things by the same name') is an informal fallacy resulting from the use of a particular word/expression in multiple senses within an argument. It is a type of ambiguity that stems from a phrase having two or more distinct meanings, not from the grammar or structure of the sentence." We can have different opinions about reality, but our subjective views have relevance only... ummmm... subjectively, or when 2 or more are agreeing to mean the words the same way... ala Humpty Dumpty. (Gee 130 hours of college philosophy classes sure make me ramble on!)
