Monique Lyr Add: Mudcat singaround songs NOT in English (321* d) RE: Lyr Add: Mudcat singaround songs NOT in English 21 Dec 21

I sang "Ay del chiquirritín", a carol from Andalusia. I think I learned it when I was in 7th or 8th grade.

AY DEL CHIQUIRRITÍN

Estribillo

(Estribillo)

No me mires airado, hijito mío
mírame con los ojos que yo te miro.

(Estribillo)
AH THE POOR LITTLE BOY

Chorus
Ah the poor little boy, little baby boy,
Baby lying in the straw
Ah the poor little boy, little baby boy,
Darling boy, beloved boy of our souls.

Between an ox and a donkey, the Child God was born
And in a poor crib, they received him

(Chorus)

Under the arch of the entrance porch
We can discover Mary, Joseph and the Child.

(Chorus)

Don't look at me angrily, son of my soul
Look at me the same way as I look at you.

(Chorus)
