Can't begin to describe our sadness and shock at this news. Clive was a great friend for almost 50 years with never a cross word between us. He was the finest compere and club organiser you would come across - I'm sure nobody will argue with that. Loved his professionalism, his eclectic taste in music, sense of humour and not a bad singer to boot !
The folk family has lost a gem - especially all those in the Bothy Folk Club family. Thoughts are with Jean and those that knew him. He is irreplaceable.
