AndyG - Hamish said that that song was reworked by him from a 'traditional' source. I seem to recall that the original was a British Army one involving Military Policemen. In general re recordings, in recent years Hamish made a video recording - a 'live' performance in Glasgow. I have an advance copy rather than the commercial release. Can anyone give a source and details?
