I just came across a video of my old friend Jack Lee performing "The Phantom of Balderstone Mill" one of the other links led to this page. I worked alongside Jack at Hawker Siddeley Aviation when I was an apprentice back in the 60's and lived in Smithy Bridge later, so we were regulars at the Fisherman's plus a couple of other paces later on. We used to go on hikes with Jack and Mave and family plus other members of the Folk Club. We even entered a Float in the Rochdale Carnival and won a prize, which we had a party with the proceeds.
