I've seen footage somewhere of Ronnie Hawkins performing on stage in one of the bars on Yonge Street, in Toronto, back in the 'sixties, but can't find any of that on youtube - but this kind of silly appearance on the Dick Clark Show gives you just a hint of what it would have been like to have caught him in the right venue at the right time of night back then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUZNAzL4wnk
