Alan Green ran Folk Heritage records (inc. doing the recording) from a bedroom in his house in Cheadle Hulme. I believe I only have one of his records which I won in a folk club back in the ‘70s. Wasn’t there some story of him eventually breaking up his mixing desk and burying in on a hillside somewhere in Wales?
