I remember Brian from the folk circuit back in the 70s. I used to sing with a duo called Contrast, and did the rounds of Richmond Folk club and The White Rose at Leeming with Mick Sheehan and Pete Beresford and Blue Anchor I’ve been singing the Richmond Drummer Boy one of Brian’s songs since 1976. I remember Maypole Dancers but sadly don’t have the lyrics to that one. Back gigging again after 45 years and a guest singer with The Dalesfolk.
