Yes I met John in the late seventies when he moved to suffolk, we played with paddy and jan butcher and katie and sue miles in the Suffolk Bell and horseshoe band. I was with john at many of his sessions with the old singers and musicians such as Billy Bennington and Reg Reeder. John worked very hard collecting and arranging tours for the suffolk singers and musicians, this is sad news. condolences to Katie RIP John. Dick Miles
