Most places in Cornwall strongly advise us to refrain from feeding gulls. They were a menace in Padstow yesterday, a menace in Exeter last week and are always a menace in Truro. They're very good at pinpointing your pasty or sandwich and swooping you to cleanly divest you of it. They can hurt if they crash you. As with dogs with bad owners causing problems, it isn't the gulls' fault. But don't feed 'em!
