A wonderful musician, I recall a Sunday dinnertime at the Favourite in the late sixties when it was announced that he would be visiting the following week. He attracted every Irish flute player within 50 miles of London & he delighted them all.
He had views about the music and other things which didn't go down well at times, but it can't take away from the legacy of music he has left us.
