More on The Bold Fisherman; An early sighting/hearing by Francis Jekyll and George Butterworth. Sung by Mr Edmund Spooner (c. 70) inmate of Midhurst Workhouse, December 1908. From The Ploughboy's Glory edited by Michael Downey 1977. Midhurst Union workhouse (the original House of Industry built for Easebourne United Parishes) is now occupied by 'Christ for the Nations' organisation (2001).
