I was a regular at the Monaco 60/61 so I met all the guys. Wiz, Clive Palmer, Pete Watson ( he still owes me 10 francs) the Bennets, Alex Campbell..
Have a number of anecdotes from the period - should they be of interest
I was working in a patisserie at the time so I often brought in leftover cakes n such. Much appreciated by one n’all.
Wiz and Clive played together but fell out over something.
Clive would play the art cinemas in rue Champollion and I would bottle for him..
I later hitched up to Stockholm - where I still live - busking part-time - some of the Paris people came up there later - and the place a true busker scene evolved. Phil Free, Alan Young n Don Partridge..
