7 September 2022 Touring by tall ship with the Sea Song Sessions

Members of the Sea Song Sessions talk about their new album, and touring by tall ship. Ben Nicholls and Emily Portman chat to Mark about the project, which also involves Seth Lakeman, Jack Rutter and Bellowhead's Jon Boden. The group will be playing harbourside venues when they tour the south coast onboard a sailing ship in late September.

You can hear songs from the Sea Song Sessions and more LIVE at three, one-off harbourside and onboard performances.

This week, singer and musician Jackie Oates plays songs from her new album, 'Gracious Wings'. Jackie is one of the most cherished folk voices of her generation, combining sensitive singing with superb fiddle and viola playing to affect audiences since the mid-2000s. Her touring trio includes Mike Cosgrave (piano, accordion, guitar) and John Parker (double bass). Gracious Wings features friends and guests Megan Henwood, Jon Wilks and Simon Emmerson of the Imagined Village.
