Amália Rodrigues and the World of Fado As with arte's recent documentary on Morris Dancing (see this thread) it's in German (and Portuguese and French) with English subtitles, and is probably not available outside Europe. Despite the title it's not primarily about Amália but about modern fadistas - women and men - including outside Portugal. Lizzie Levée, for example, sings Fado in French. There's an interesting bit where a guitarist compares fado and flamenco guitar styles. (I was alerted to this by subscribing to arte's mailing list, btw. I've watched several things. I cast them from my tablet to my TV.)
